Introducing the J-shot: A procedure with little to no downtime to enhance the male anatomy

At our office in Austin, Dr. Walden will perform this procedure using topical and local anesthesia. This treatment takes only 20-30 minutes and patients can resume normal activity directly after treatment. Through the use of filler, patients are able to see immediate results, with full results seen in 1-2 weeks time. Sexual activity can be performed about 48 hours after treatment in most cases. How long will Penile Enhancement results last?
The results seen from treatment depend on the product used. We offer Voluma XC, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, and Radiesse for this treatment. Voluma XC is highly recommended as this is the most popular and longest-lasting filler treatment.

Is penile enhancement with dermal filler injections safe?
Because Dr. Walden uses hyaluronic acid fillers for these procedures, they have far lower risks than other methods, such as penile implants. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, so reactions to these injections are rare. These same filters are used across the face and the back of the hands to replace volume that has allowed wrinkles and creases to form, and areas such as the cheeks to become sunken. Also, if the patient doesn’t like his results, Dr. Walden can inject an enzyme known as hyaluronidase to instantly break down the hyaluronic acid and disperse the filler.
What are the possible side effects with penile enhancement injections?
There are possible side effects with these injections. They include pain, swelling, bruising, bumps, lumps, development of cysts, skin irregularities, and inflammation. If a blood vessel becomes affected, this could lead to erectile dysfunction. Other effects can be an uneven distribution if the filler migrates.
Who is a good candidate for penile enhancement with dermal fillers?
Good candidates for these procedures with Dr. Walden are self-conscious about the width/girth of their penis. That is the primary change made with these injections, girth, although there can also be some change in length. Patients need to be aware that these are not permanent changes. The penis should maintain its larger shape for up to 18 months. Patients also need to realize these injections generally add girth, but not length. These changes are when the penis is in a flaccid state, as well.
How effective are these penile enhancement treatments?
These treatments are best for increasing the girth of the patient’s penis. They may add length, but those results are variable. These changes in patients can provide a serious boost in self-confidence and can create an enhanced sense of masculinity. There are no studies with specific statistics to quote at this point, as these are relatively new uses of dermal fillers.
How many treatments are recommended?
This would depend on each patient's anatomy and desired results. Dr. Walden believes hyaluronic acid dermal filler gives the most natural feel & look as well as a fairly long lasting result. At some point, the body will absorb the hyaluronic acid dermal filler and the results will decrease over time. We recommend a yearly maintenance to maintain the larger penis size.
